For those new to the Roundtable; we don’t recommend “Start” on anyone that all ready starts for 70-75% of owners and don’t recommend “Sit” for dudes that start on less than 35% of squads. We’ll break that rule from time to time if conditions warrant, but we’ll call it out when we do.

We'll go through the week and pick who we like and who we don't like; we're not tied into a specific number of dudes by position of a fixed number of starts or sits.

Big difference between the Roundtable and other fantasy football sites; we grade the previous week’s Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em performance and post it the following week for all to see. We also update a yearly scorecard. Pulled a C+ on the starts & a C on the sits in 2008 and just about the same in 2009. Had some tough "start" weeks early on in 2011 but rebounded later in the year. We killed it on the sits.

We're on the Twitter, @The_Roundtable. You can send us you're start em/sit em questions; or see if we woke up Sunday morning for some real time picks. And don't forget to check out our season long Start 'Em Sit 'Em death match between our buds Joe & Chris.

Week 16

Start Em

Mikel Leshoure RB, Lions
Getting the touches and averaging a TD a game over the last six.

Anquan Boldin WR, Baltimore
This should be his week with the Giants giving up bog fantasy days to opposition receivers.

Justin Blackmon WR, Jacksonville
Getting his share of the targets, averaging almost ten over the last five games and the Pats ranking near the bottom in most defensive passing metrics.

Brandon Myers TE, Oakland
Despite recent struggles, Myers still ranks #1 in the AFC for receptions by a TE, should rebound this week.

Sit Em

Eli Manning QB, Giants
Can’t be counted on to get the fantasy numbers, has only completed more than 20 passes three times in the last nine week and had four TD-less games in that span.

Bryce Brown RB, Philadelphia
Dropped off after two spectacular weeks; still starting in about two-thirds of leagues, need to hit your bench.

Greg Jennings WR, Green Bay
Starting in just over half of leagues, but cannot be trusted, hasn’t done anything since returning from injury.

Jermaine Gresham TE, Cincinnati
The Steelers limited Gresham to 19 yards in the previous meeting; Pittsburgh D is generally stingy against TEs.

Week 17 Notes

We’re travling all next week and won't be making picks. Anyway, The Roundtable traditionally doesn’t make Week 17 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em picks.

We leave you with this advice: If you’re playing week 17, your team is good, stick with the horses that got you there. Don’t fall for the back-up that’s going to play as a starter rests.
Good luck. Happy Holidays.
